Confounding Bias Analysis

We can never be certain we've measured all confounders.

Quantitative bias analysis asks:

• How strong would unmeasured confounding need to be to explain the result?
• What is the bias-corrected estimate given assumptions about the confounder?

Parameters needed:

• Prevalence of U among exposed and unexposed
• Effect of U on outcome
